The third annual Parents Connect Convention will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from 5:30-7:30 pm at Horace Mann. Last year we had over 75 families take advantage of this unique event.
The purpose of this convention is to respond to the needs of families and connect them with professionals who can provide information, support, and resources necessary to encourage their child's success. The mission of the PCC is to strengthen families through education, and foster relationships within our community.
We are asking for your help in promoting this event. Registration will be done online through the NJSD website. We've included the link to the registration form in this email. We offer free childcare (if requested during registration) and dinner for participants.
We have an informational brochure for all families that we would appreciate being sent home with your students. Those will be delivered to all buildings within the next week. If you are able to send a message out, including the link below, that would be wonderful.
If you are curious about what the PCC is and would like to learn more / get more involved, please don't hesitate to contact me email@example.com or Tim Verboomen (firstname.lastname@example.org) ...
Thank you in advance for your help in making this event a success!
Wow, time flies! I hope everyone was able to have an enjoyable summer with family and friends. We are all very excited for school to start and to see our students' faces.
We are excited to share that our Parent Resource Center has grown! We've added many new games to our collection! We've also moved to a more convenient location! You can now find the Parent Resource Center right outside the office. Open the cabinets and find a game that will be perfect for your family!
The check-out procedure has remained the same. There is a library card on each game, sign the card and hand it to Mrs. T in the office. We would appreciate if you would please return the game within 7 days of checking it out!
Have a great start to the school year! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

The Adventure Awaits you.....Math night is right around the corner! All families are welcome to come to Camp Coolidge on Thursday night to explore fun, educational math games and activities. Families will have an opportunity to go visit multiple stations like S'more Math games, Measurement Mountain, and Hiking through the Web.
Our Family Resource Center will have it's own station, Ranger Resources, so you can come try out some of our educational games. Be sure to stop by and build sight words with Zingo, create a circuit with Snap Circuits Jr, or score points with Triominos!
Camp Rangers are eagerly awaiting your visit :-)
This year Coolidge received an amazing recognition from the state of Wisconsin as a High Progress School. With that honor, our school was awarded a stipend to use towards anything that we thought would benefit our school and students.
Our vision is to create a place where families can go to 'check out' educational materials to bring home and explore. The idea is similar to that of a library where items get checked out and then turned back in, however, instead of books we will have a variety of educational, inquiry based games and activities that are teacher tested and kid approved! Some games you could buy or order online and some are teacher created activities that work on very specific skills.
The Resource Center is located in the hallway right behind the cafeteria. The items can be checked out in the office with Mrs. T. All items are expected to be returned with in 7 days.
Please click on the Coolidge Resource Center tab on the left for a list of all items.
